This Privacy Policy describes how Interactive Coconut (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use those apps and when you visit our website.

Summary
We do not require an account. We do not sell your personal information. We do not show advertising in our apps. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. Where an app takes payment, Apple handles it — we do not receive your payment card details.
Subtitles Viewer
This section applies to Subtitles Viewer and Subtitles Viewer PRO.
On your device
The app stores the following locally on your iPhone or iPad:
- Downloaded and uploaded subtitle files, and a list of titles in your library
- Playback preferences (for example font size and text colour)
- Language preferences
- Download credit counts, and flags for lifetime purchases you have already made
You can remove locally stored subtitles by deleting them in the app, or by deleting the app.
iCloud
If iCloud is enabled, credit counts and related purchase flags may sync across your devices using Apple’s iCloud Key-Value Store. That data is processed by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy.
Search and downloads
When you search for or download subtitles, the app sends your search (title, and season/episode if you enter them) and language preferences to OpenSubtitles so it can return matching files. OpenSubtitles is an independent service. Their use of data is governed by their own privacy policy: https://www.opensubtitles.com.
We do not receive a copy of your Apple ID, name, or email from that search.
Purchases
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive confirmation of what you bought (for example a credit pack or an active subscription) so the app can unlock the matching features. We do not receive your payment card details.

Interdental
This section applies to Interdental.
On your device
Interdental stores all of the following locally on your iPhone or iPad. We do not operate servers that receive this data:
- Family profiles you create, including the names you choose
- Your mouth map (which brush size belongs in each gap) and brand choice (for example TePe or Piksters)
- Cleaning history and timer preferences
- Reminder times, if you enable them
- A local count of days you have used the app, used only to decide when to ask for an App Store rating
You can delete a profile in the app, or delete the app, to remove this information from the device.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, Interdental schedules local notifications on your device at the times you choose. Permission can be changed in iOS Settings. Notification content stays on your device; we do not receive it.
Sharing a map
If you export or share a mouth map, iOS’s share sheet sends that image only to the app or person you choose. We do not receive a copy unless you send it to us yourself.
Support and reviews
If you tap “Email us”, your device opens the Mail app to contact info@interactivecoconut.com. We only receive what you choose to send.
The app may prompt you to rate Interdental using Apple’s standard in-app review API. Review data is handled by Apple, not by us.
Website
Our website may collect standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) and may use cookies needed to operate the site. We do not use the site for advertising or ad targeting.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide each app’s features (for example subtitle search and playback, or Interdental mouth maps and reminders)
- Keep Subtitles Viewer credit counts and purchases in sync on your devices when iCloud is enabled
- Respond if you contact us
- Understand and fix problems with an app or the website
- Comply with law
We do not use our apps to profile you for advertising.
Sharing
We share information only in these cases:
- OpenSubtitles, for Subtitles Viewer search and downloads you request
- Apple, for App Store purchases, iCloud sync, local notifications, in-app review prompts, and other operating system services
- Service providers who host our website, solely to operate the site
- When we have a good-faith belief it is required by law, needed to protect our rights or users, or as part of a merger, sale, or similar transaction
We do not sell personal information. We do not share data with advertising networks for targeting.
Retention
App data stays on your device until you delete it in the app or delete the app. Purchase records Apple keeps are retained according to Apple’s policies. Website logs and emails you send us are kept only as long as needed for support, security, and operations.
Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 on our servers. Interdental lets you create family profiles with names you choose; that information stays on the device.
Your choices
- You can use our apps without creating an account with us
- In Subtitles Viewer, you can restore purchases from the purchase screen, manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings or on Apple’s subscription page, and turn off iCloud for the app in iOS Settings
- In Interdental, you can delete profiles, turn reminders off, and change notification permission in iOS Settings
- You can delete an app to remove its local data
If you are in a region with additional privacy rights (for example access, deletion, or objection), contact us using the details above and we will help where we can. Some requests may need to go through Apple if Apple holds the data (for example App Store receipts).
International processing
Information may be processed in Australia and in other countries where Apple, OpenSubtitles, or our website host operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws from your own.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. If a change is material, we will post a notice on this page.
Other Interactive Coconut apps
If another Interactive Coconut app collects information in a different way, we will add a section here or publish a separate notice for that app.
